Firstly, Pakistan has a wonderful history. Pakistan gained independence from British rule in 1947. After Independence, it becomes a fairly young country. The country’s name ‘Pakistan’ means ‘Land of the Pure’ in Urdu. Urdu is one of its official languages.

Pakistan is a place of various cultures and traditions. People from different backgrounds, such as Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, and Pashtun, live in Pakistan together. Each culture has its own unique music, dance, clothing, and delicious food which make Pakistan a vibrant and colourful nation.

Pakistan has lots of amazing places to visit. In the north, there are huge mountains called the Himalayas, and in the south, there are amazing beaches by the Arabian Sea. One special place is Mohenjo-Daro which is an old city that is a part of history. It is important that it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And in Lahore, there are many busy streets with very old buildings of Mughal architecture. There are many amazing yummy street foods.

A person named Muhammad Ali Jinnah helped a lot. He is called Quaid-e-Azam, which means Great Leader. When Pakistan became independent, it became a special place just for Muslims. They could live there and have their own country.

Let’s talk about Pakistan’s Geography. Pakistan has lots of different landscapes, like big mountains, green valleys, flat plains, and pretty beaches. In the north, there are amazing views of the Himalayas and the Karakoram Range, which are super famous. And the second-highest mountain in the world, K2, is present in Pakistan.
