Rajasthan is the biggest state of India which is located in the northwest part. It is famous for its rich history, culture, and beautiful landscapes. Rajasthan is a place of great Forts, fancy Palaces and wonderful Festivals. The land of Rajasthan is vast which is covered by deserts, mountains, and plains. During sunset, the desert glows in golden colour which makes it beautiful like heaven.

Rajasthan is a land that has a lot of desert areas, especially the Thar Desert, which covers more than half part of the state. Just imagine a huge area filled with golden sand that goes on for a long area. Some sand dunes are present in this desert that look like frozen waves. The desert of Rajasthan is dry but then also many animals live there like desert foxes, fast gazelles, and some plants especially cactus that grow in this desert area.

Rajasthan is well-known for its amazing forts and palaces and they show the powerful and brave the rulers who were born here. One of the famous places is the Amber Fort in Jaipur. It is situated on a hill, and it shows the smartness of Rajput Kings. The walls of this fort are very strong, and it is filled with beautiful sculpting and big open areas where people can gather. And in Jaisalmer known as the Golden City, which is full of fancy and beautiful buildings called havelis and a big fort made of sandstone. It shows how clever the people were in building such amazing places in the desert.

Rajasthan is not only famous for its beautiful buildings, forts and palaces but it is also a place full of culture and traditions. People all over the world love folk music and dances of Rajasthan because they’re full of energy and excitement. The sarangi playing and the dholak drumming feel like you’re transported to a world of love and bravery. The Ghoomar and Kalbeliya dances, performed with skill and grace, are like a big celebration of life itself.

There are many delicious foods in Rajasthan for everyone, from spicy dishes like Laal Maas, a meat curry, to sweet treats like Ghewar, a yummy dessert made with fried flour and sugary syrup.
